This past week was very rewarding as we entered into a time of prayer and fasting as a church, humbling ourselves before the Lord and crying out for more of Him. I love His word and His great faithfulness to fulfill His promises to us! The end of II Chronicles 7:14 says.. then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. As we "prayed through the temple" using different pieces of the furniture found in the temple as a tool or guide to see how it represents different areas of our Christian walk, we began to see the Lord breaking down barriers and strengthening foundations as we worshiped Him, prayed for forgiveness, healing, purity, transformation, salvation for loved ones and the crying needs we see all around us. We prayed for family, friends, the church, the city, the country, the world and its leaders and ourselves. We had times of laughter, rejoicing, weeping and silence as different dear ones came to "sit at His feet and hear His word" to their hearts. We don´t often read II Chronicles 7:15..."Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place."...but I think I heard Him whisper it to my heart. There is no doubt that the Lord lives and delights in the prayers of His people.
